Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
This dossier revises rules on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The amendments insert review obligations for the Commission to revise Directive 2012/19/EU by specified dates, address financing of collection and treatment of waste photovoltaic panels and open-scope EEE, apply the polluter-pays principle so costs are not transferred to consumers, and set marking and transposition requirements.
