Summary
This legislative proposal sets common rules for direct support schemes for farmers under the common agricultural policy. The amendments revise provisions on cross-compliance and the declaration of agricultural areas, the use of delegated and implementing acts to amend annexes and set payment ceilings, the maintenance of permanent pasture, the single area payment scheme and payment entitlements, and arrangements involving the national reserve, young farmers and a separate soft fruit payment.
