Summary

The dossier concerns Rule 202a of Parliament's Rules of Procedure on the use by Parliament of the symbols of the Union. The amendments would have Parliament recognise the flag of twelve golden stars on a blue background, the anthem based on the 'Ode to Joy' from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and the motto 'United in diversity', celebrate Europe Day on 9 May, and fly the flag at its premises.
