Summary

This dossier provides macro-financial assistance to North Macedonia. The amendments revise recitals on North Macedonia's EU candidate status and accession negotiations, press-freedom rankings, balance-of-payments support complementing IMF resources, a maximum amount of EUR 100 million, borrowing on capital markets, and the pre-condition of respect for democratic mechanisms and the rule of law.
