Summary

The dossier is the annual report on competition policy for 2021. Amendments stress competition policy's role in the single market and consumer welfare, the services sector and removal of unjustified barriers, competition rules in digital markets including the Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act, 'killer acquisitions' and merger control, data concentration, large digital platforms, the Internet of Things, sustainability and the European Green Deal.
