Summary
A resolution on resilience as a strategic priority of the EU's external action. The amendments emphasise resilience as a long-term effort linked to sustainable development, coherence between development aid and humanitarian assistance, disaster risk reduction under the Sendai framework, situations of fragility, a focus on the most vulnerable including women, girls, children and displaced people, humanitarian principles, and reference the EUGS, the Paris Agreement and Official Development Assistance commitments.
