Summary

This dossier concerns Europol agreements on cooperation with Denmark. Amendments reference a declaration stressing the exceptional and transitional nature of the arrangement, conditional on Denmark's continued EU and Schengen membership, implementation of the data-protection directive in Danish law and acceptance of the Court of Justice's jurisdiction. They cite Protocol No 22 to the Treaty and the Danish referendum, and call for a five-year expiry date.
