Summary

This dossier concerns the recast of the regulation protecting species of wild fauna and flora by regulating trade therein. The amendments mainly empower the Commission to adopt implementing acts on export and re-export documents, seizure and confiscation of specimens, personal and household effects, derogations from prohibitions, restrictions on holding or moving live specimens, time limits for permits and certificates, and designation of customs offices.
