Customs enforcement of intellectual property rights

The dossier concerns customs enforcement of intellectual property rights. The amendments address customs control of counterfeit and pirated goods, trademark and copyright infringements, goods in transit and possible diversion onto the internal market, applications for customs action, suspension or detention and destruction of goods, the rights of declarants and holders, penalties on applicants submitting false applications, and the TRIPS Agreement and public health.
