Towards more efficient and cost effective interpreting in the European Parliament

An own-initiative report on more efficient and cost-effective interpreting in the European Parliament. The amendments uphold multilingualism, webstreaming and video-on-demand access to sittings, a penalty clause against late cancellation of interpreter bookings, the use of Members' language profiles, rules on interpretation during delegation trips, lists of facilities requested but not used, and a Court of Auditors special report on interpretation and translation expenditure.
