Summary
An own-initiative report on strengthening chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) security in the EU through an EU CBRN action plan. The amendments debate the threat of CBRN attacks and proliferation by state and non-state actors, the non-proliferation regime (NPT), disarmament, the Biological and Chemical Weapons Conventions, an international fuel bank, a European nuclear-weapon-free zone, and stronger civil protection capacity and threat reporting to Parliament.
