European Regional Development Fund (ERDF): eligibility of housing interventions in favour of marginalised communities

The dossier concerns the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the eligibility of housing interventions in favour of marginalised communities. The amendments extend eligibility of housing expenditure to marginalised communities in rural as well as urban areas, allow renovation and replacement of existing housing by newly constructed houses of high environmental quality, and require an integrated approach including education, health and social action to limit segregation.
