Summary
This own-initiative report concerns combating sexual exploitation of children and child pornography. The amendments reference the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Council of Europe Convention, urge Member States to ratify and implement relevant conventions, and call for criminalising sexual abuse of children, child sex tourism, forcing children to witness sexual abuse, and paedophile chat rooms and their providers.
