Summary
This dossier concerns protecting children using the Internet and other communication technologies through the Safer Internet programme 2009-2013. The amendments address an educational package for teachers, carers and parents, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, defining 'children' as persons under 15, technical solutions against illegal content and harmful conduct online, contact points and hotlines, involving children, and preventing gender stereotyping.
