Summary
This dossier concerns health rules on animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption. The amendments address the sources and risks of animal by-products, their processing, disposal, incineration and use as fuel, exemptions for catering, retail and farm-origin materials, pet food, feeding of endangered birds, definitions such as combustion as fuel and centrifuge or separator sludge, and the approval and registration of establishments and plants.
