This codecision dossier concerns the safety, resilience and sustainability of space activities in the Union. The amendments address greenhouse gas emissions, the environmental footprint and circularity of space missions and launchers, prevention of space debris, collision-avoidance manoeuvres, trackability and end-of-life of spacecraft, liability of space operators, exemptions for SMEs and research institutions, dependencies on critical raw materials, and mutual recognition with third countries.
