Summary
This report concerns EU space industrial policy and growth in the space sector. The amendments address competitiveness and fragmentation of the European space industry, the relationship with the Common Security and Defence Policy and dual-use components, the Galileo and Copernicus/GMES programmes, dependence on imported electronics, space surveillance and debris, anti-satellite weapons, the role of the ESA, the Outer Space Treaty, and protection of fundamental rights and privacy.
