Summary

This dossier concerns the Commission's 2023 Rule of Law report. The amendments invoke Article 2 TEU values and the Court of Justice, address justice systems and judicial independence, anti-corruption frameworks, transparency registers and lobbying, an EU Ethics Body, the European Public Prosecutor's Office, civil society space, whistleblower protection, and lawsuits against public participation (SLAPPs).
