Summary

A revision of the Waste Framework Directive covering textiles and food waste. The amendments address separate collection of textiles, footwear and apparel, extended producer responsibility, fast fashion, microplastics, reuse and repair arrangements and donation, and food waste prevention and reduction targets under the 2030 Agenda and SDG Target 12.3, with reference to the Circular Economy Action Plan and the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles.
