Compliance with flag State requirements
Legislative dossier on compliance with flag State requirements. Amendments address the onboard working and living conditions, training and qualifications of crew, Member States' obligations under the IMO Conventions, resources for maritime administrations, a minimum yearly inspection quota for each EU flag State, post-qualification training including by the EMSA Academy, a database on ships flying a Member State's flag, and the 'genuine link' between a vessel's real owner and its flag.
