Summary

A recast of the Single Permit Directive. The amendments revise recitals and provisions on the single application procedure and decision deadlines, the scope covering third-country workers including those employed through temporary work agencies and beneficiaries of protection, equal treatment on working conditions, pay, dismissal, social security and qualifications, the role of social partners, penalties against employers, and monitoring through inspections.
