A proposal extending long-term resident status for third-country nationals to beneficiaries of international protection. The amendments address equality of treatment in economic and social matters, procedures where a Member State decides to expel a long-term resident whose permit notes international protection in another Member State, readmission to that Member State, the position of family members, and references to provisions on international protection.
