International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT): amendments to the management, conservation and control measures applicable in the Convention Area
Legislative proposal implementing International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) management, conservation and control measures in the Convention Area. Amendments transpose ICCAT recommendations on tropical tunas, Mediterranean and Atlantic albacore, billfish such as blue and white marlin, North and South Atlantic shortfin mako sharks, bluefin tuna, fishing plans and capacity, FADs, observer coverage and safe handling and release procedures, amending Regulation (EU) 2017/2107.
