Shipments of waste
A regulation on shipments of waste. The amendments cover plastic-waste entries and Basel and EU classification codes, exports of hazardous waste to third countries and OECD-related lists, commitments by receiving countries, the circular economy and proximity and self-sufficiency principles, ILO and Aarhus Conventions, distinguishing waste from raw materials for recycling, traceability and bans on mixing, and links the rules to the European Green Deal.
