This dossier concerns mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund to assist Member States affected by natural disasters and a public health emergency. Amendments welcome the decision as Union solidarity with regions hit by natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, applaud the widening of the fund's scope, regret delays in assessing applications, and call for reform addressing climate change and risks to islands and coastal regions.
