Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): KOLAKUŠIĆ Mislav (NA)
Summary

The dossier is the Better Law-Making report on regulatory fitness, subsidiarity and proportionality for 2017, 2018 and 2019. Amendments stress subsidiarity, proportionality and transparency in internal-market law-making, impact assessments and monitoring, support for SMEs facing COVID-19 repercussions and the SME test, the 'One in, one out' principle and avoidance of 'gold-plating', stakeholder and national-parliament involvement, and reducing unnecessary administrative burdens without deregulation.

Plenary votes

19 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
