Summary

The dossier concerns EU-NATO cooperation in the context of transatlantic relations. The amendments address defence capability development among joint EU-NATO members, NATO's 2% goal and burden-sharing, coordination between the EU's Capability Development Plan, CARD, PESCO, EDA and EDF, and the role of AI and autonomous systems in defence. They also raise the European Defence Technological and Industrial Base, SME engagement, the Strategic Compass and common threat assessment.
