An own-initiative report on the role of EU development cooperation and humanitarian assistance in addressing the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. The amendments highlight underfunded humanitarian and development aid, rising extreme poverty and debt in developing countries, food insecurity, risks to refugees and internally displaced persons, gender-based violence and sexual and reproductive health, and add citations to UN, UNCTAD and UNFPA reports.
