European data governance (Data Governance Act)
The dossier concerns European data governance (the Data Governance Act). The amendments rework definitions of data subject, data holder, data user, data intermediary, metadata, consent and data altruism, align them with the GDPR, and set rules for data sharing and intermediation services covering non-discriminatory access, pricing and commercial terms, interoperability and anti-lock-in, and limits on use of metadata.

1 roll-call votesIn plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole.
