Summary

Own-initiative report on the consequences for fish stocks and fisheries related to rising seawater temperatures. Amendments add citations and recitals on the impact of climate change and warming oceans on marine biodiversity, species abundance, distribution and reproduction, coastal and island communities' food security and livelihoods, aquaculture, blue carbon ecosystems such as mangroves and seagrass meadows, ecosystem-based management, the Paris Agreement, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and IPCC reports.
