Protection of the EU’s financial interests - Recovery of money and assets from third-countries in fraud cases

An own-initiative report on protecting the EU's financial interests through recovery of money and assets from third countries in fraud cases. Amendments cite OLAF, Directive 2014/42/EU on freezing and confiscation, the European Public Prosecutor's Office, and UN and Council of Europe conventions, address mutual legal assistance agreements with third countries, anti-fraud clauses, beneficial ownership data, a standardised data collection method and EU database, and asset recovery action by UNICRI.
