Summary

An own-initiative report on the protection of the Communities' financial interests and the fight against fraud, annual report 2010. The amendments distinguish fraud from irregularities, cite Member States' role in implementing the budget and collecting VAT and customs duties, the Court of Auditors' error rate, the Irregularities Management System, electronic payments, the VAT gap, customs procedure 422, whistleblowers, and estimates of corruption losses.
