Guidelines for the employment policies of the Member States

A proposal on the guidelines for the employment policies of the Member States. The amendments revise recitals around a coordinated strategy for a skilled, adaptable workforce and inclusive labour markets, combating poverty, social exclusion and discrimination and promoting equality between women and men, consistency with the European Pillar of Social Rights, the roles of the Parliament and Council, the European Semester, social dialogue and wage-setting.
