Subjects: European Commission
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): DURAND Pascal (Verts/ALE)
Summary
An own-initiative report on guidelines for Commissioners' declarations of interests. The amendments criticise the 2011 Code of Conduct for Commissioners for failing to address Parliament's recommendations on declarations of financial interests, conflicts of interest and post-office restrictions, and call for a clear definition of conflict of interest, divestment requirements, declaration of assets and liabilities, disclosure obligations and sanctions, referencing Article 245 TFEU.
