Summary
An own-initiative report on control of the Register and composition of the Commission's expert groups. Amendments address lack of transparency and imbalanced composition of expert groups, budgetary reserves, the Commission's horizontal rules and Decision of 30 May 2016, public calls for applications, the Transparency Register, the European Ombudsman's recommendations, participation of under-represented groups such as civil society and trade unions, complaints mechanisms, and reimbursement of expenses.
