Summary
This dossier concerns EU common commercial policy in the context of wildlife sustainability imperatives. The amendments address wildlife trafficking and crime, illegal trade in flora and fauna and its estimated EUR 20 billion turnover, biodiversity loss, the EU as a destination, transit and source market, terrorist financing links, the GATT Article XX(a) and (g) exceptions and WTO law, wildlife cybercrime, and the EU Action Plan against Wildlife Trafficking.
