Summary
Own-initiative report on the European Semester for economic policy coordination and the 2016 annual growth survey. Amendments contest the European Semester and euro-area governance, debate the role of the European budget, own resources, fiscal consolidation and structural reforms, and raise an own euro-area budget to counter asymmetric shocks, the European Stability Mechanism and EFSI, links to the Structural Funds, and a gender dimension of the Semester.
