Summary
Own-initiative recommendation on negotiations for an EU/Canada Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA). Amendments address the parallel negotiation of the SPA and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), shared democratic values, human rights and democracy conditionality clauses, the visa-waiver and visa-reciprocity issue, the EU-Canada PNR agreement, Canada's climate commitments and withdrawal from the Kyoto Protocol, Arctic Council observer status, and inter-parliamentary cooperation.
