Mid-term review of the Stockholm Programme

This own-initiative report is the mid-term review of the Stockholm Programme on freedom, security and justice. Amendments press for coherence between internal and external policies, a human-rights-based approach to migration and border management, safeguards in Frontex and readmission agreements, and concern over deaths of irregular migrants and refoulement. Others address accession to the European Convention on Human Rights, the ICC, trafficking, cybercrime, and surveillance programmes such as PRISM and PNR.
