Summary
This dossier concerns the provision of port services and financial transparency of ports. The amendments add minimum requirements that port service providers must meet—covering professional qualifications, maritime safety and security, and respect for social and labour rules and collective agreements—address limiting the number of providers and self-provision of service, the role of the sectoral Social Dialogue Committee, and the financing of port infrastructure; one committee calls for the proposal's rejection.
