Summary
This dossier concerns port reception facilities for the delivery of waste from ships. The amendments address safety and environmental protection, the polluter-pays principle and enforcement against discharges at sea, food waste from cruise ships, separate collection of waste including derelict fishing gear, marine litter from the fishing, recreational and offshore platform sectors, waste prevention plans, and incentives and financing for delivering waste, including for fishermen.
