Summary
This report concerns the European Semester for economic policy coordination and the implementation of 2012 priorities. The amendments address democratic debate and the role of national parliaments and social partners, the Annual Growth Survey, fiscal consolidation, the role of the EU budget, the macroeconomic imbalances scoreboard, the Commission's country-specific recommendations for the euro area, ex ante coordination of draft budget plans, growth-enhancing structural reforms, and spill-over effects between Member States.
