Summary
An own-initiative report on financing EU SMEs' trade and investment and facilitated access to credit supporting internationalisation. The amendments cite statistics on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, lack of finance and bank-loan rejection rates, the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), the proposed COSME programme and its Loan Guarantee Facility, WTO standards and dispute settlement, and barriers to SME internationalisation including lack of information.
