Summary
This dossier concerns the European Progress Microfinance Facility for employment and social inclusion. The amendments address support through micro-credit for unemployed, disadvantaged and socially excluded persons and micro-enterprises in the social economy, the Community budget contribution to the Facility, the role of commercial banks and non-commercial microfinance institutions, and accompanying mentoring, training and technical assistance to create viable micro-enterprises.
