This dossier sets accounting rules and information on actions for greenhouse gas emissions and removals from land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF). The amendments address reference levels for forest management and how they are communicated and revised, align rules with UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol decisions, treat the sector as a net sink, exclude reporting obligations for private farmers and foresters, and account for natural disturbances and improved methodologies.
