Summary
This own-initiative dossier concerns equality between women and men in the European Union for 2011. The amendments address male violence against women, the impact of the economic crisis and public-spending cuts on female employment, part-time and temporary contracts, access to childcare, the gender pay gap, women's sexual and reproductive health and rights, poverty among women including single mothers, and trafficking in human beings.
