Summary
This own-initiative report assesses the application of Directive 2006/54/EC on equal opportunities and equal treatment of men and women in employment. The amendments target the gender pay gap and lower pensions, wage transparency, defining 'work of equal value', the burden of proof, occupational segregation, undeclared and precarious work, the Women on Boards Directive, sexual harassment and discrimination including against trans people, and the role of social partners and gender-equality bodies.
