The amendments address transitional arrangements for placing equipment on the market, obligations of manufacturers and importers to indicate their name, trade mark, web address and contact details, the EU declaration of conformity and its translation, and harmonised standards taking account of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
