Summary
An own-initiative report on a new Multiannual Financial Framework for a competitive, sustainable and inclusive Europe. The amendments focus on financing the Millennium Development Goals and the 0.7% ODA target, innovative financing including a Financial Transaction Tax, climate-change funding additional to development budgets, a single financing instrument for Africa, budgetisation of the European Development Fund, and policy coherence for development affecting the Common Agricultural Policy.
