Summary
A regulation on quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs. Amendments concern protected designations of origin, geographical indications and 'traditional speciality guaranteed' schemes, the role of producer/processor groups, labelling and Union symbols, definitions of 'group', 'traditional' and 'production stage', optional quality terms (such as mountain or pasture-based production), and simplification of registration procedures.
